Use techtime on your phone or tablet to log repair orders and hours that you have flagged for your pay period. The techtime app is designed for automotive technicians to personally assist with making sure the hours that they have flagged match with those of payroll. Similar to a checks and balances system, keeping a separate list from payroll later ensures the hours you have earned make it on to your paycheck. Users can easily calculate different labor types and commission based pay, per repair order. Adding a new repair order to your list is quick and simple. Simply hit “Add Repair Order” and in moments you can add key information that you would like to keep for your records. Like RO#, Writer, Labor Type Performed, and Flagged Hours. Use the Tech Notes feature to add specific details or little notes you would like to remember about each vehicle. Make sure the shop has the correct hours on file by emailing payroll either a list of only the discrepancies or the complete list as a whole. Simple process to get started: • Download techtime • Enter the start and end dates of your pay period • Set your labor rates( What you earn per flagged hour) • Add a repair order and techtime will calculate your earnings for you Available labor types: • Body • Mechanical • Internal • Warranty • Refinish • Glass • Frame • Aluminum • Other Identify the mistakes: Easily differentiate what hours you have earned that correlate with payroll and what do not, by color coding each repair order. With the checks and balances system, it’s ideal to keep track of any adjustments that may need to be made. • Default: By default the total flagged hours will display grey. • Correct: Tap the total flagged hours once to select it as correct, and it will turn green. • Incorrect:Tap the total flagged hours twice to select it as incorrect, and it will turn red. Techtime Full Version Features: • Archive: Store past pay periods and repair orders in the archive to later revisit if a back flag becomes an issue. • Email Payroll: Let payroll know how your list may differ from theirs, or just choose to send payroll a complete list of the repair orders you have logged for your current pay period.
