CoinDetect makes euro coin recognition easy - just snap a picture of a euro coin with your phone camera and the app will tell you the country of origin, the year of issue and other information about the coin. Must have tool for every coin collector and numismatist! The app recognizes only euro (EUR) coins of European Monetary Union (Austria, Belgium. Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, The Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain as well as Andorra, Monaco, San Marino, and Vatican City), for more information see European Central Bank. To recognise world coins try out our new app Coinoscope - a visual search engine for coins. CoinDetect uses artificial intelligence and computer vision techniques to automatically locate and recognize the coin in the image. KEY FEATURES: - Automatic localisation of the coin in the image - Automatic recognition of ~300 euro coin types, both regular coins and commemorative 2€ coins (average accuracy 97-99%) - Detailed information about each coin (description, issue year, designer, approximate value) - Coin collection management in section 'My coins' - Catalogue of all euro and eurocent coins ADDITIONAL FEATURES (CoinDetect Premium): - Collection data synchronisation with Dropbox (for backups and moving data between devices) - No ads Images of coins are uploaded and stored on CoinDetect server.
